Files and Usage
These records are the complete county property tax maps for the state of West Virginia. They were obtained
by Seneca Technologies under the West Virginia Freedom of Information Act. Anyone wishing to have a complete
set of these records for their own use should submit a FOIA request to the WV State Tax Department, along with
a check for $20.00
It should be noted that although this is the most current data available to the WV State Tax Department at
the time our FOIA request was granted, these maps are constantly being updated by the county assessors.
Neither Seneca Technologies, nor the State of West Virginia in any way guarantees the accuracy or timeliness
of the information contained on these maps. Please note the language to that effect printed on the maps
themselves. These maps are being provided as a free service, and absolutely no warranties or guarantees apply
Rely upon them at your own risk or peril.
We are hosting these records for online viewing and personal use. While we are getting our servers set up,
please only get the ones you need. We will block your IP address if you start scraping the entire site.
We do not currently have the server capacity to handle such large requests.
